MISSION as a MASSAGE THERAPIST
The therapeutic act of giving and receiving massage therapy is an essential part of leading a healthy lifestyle. As a licensed massage therapist, I serve as a guide, educator, and space holder for you as your body heals and you seek heightened levels of wellness and self-awareness.
Using my knowledge of the soft tissues of the human body I assess various layers of fascia, muscle, and connective tissue. By massaging and manipulating these tissues with healing intent and respect for you, my client, I enable the curing powers that lie within you. Sessions are always confidential and are based on your needs, even if those needs change mid-session.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
A soothing relaxation session. An excellent choice for those needing to wind down from a hard week. In this session light to moderate pressure is used with rhythmic gliding motions complemented by petrissage (kneading) of the muscles. This results in improved health of your muscles by flushing out toxins and aiding blood circulation and oxygen flow.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
A restorative healing session. Great for anyone with chronic tension in their muscles. This session begins with myofascial release to target areas, followed by moderate to deep pressure used to sink below the superficial muscle and address attachment sites. The goal is adhesions and trigger point release resulting in reduced pain, greater range of motion and improved posture.
SITE SPECIFIC MASSAGE
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
A targeted remedial session. A must for those afflicted with a sudden or gradual overuse injury. This typically shorter session uses therapeutic pressure to your tolerance to address subacute and chronic injuries to a specific body part. The intention is to facilitate faster healing of the injured site while learning which muscles (or other structures) were wounded to reduce the likelihood of a repeat injury.
A massage technique using specific pressure and rhythmic movements to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Excellent for detox, pre-surgery cleansing and post-surgery to aid in the healing process. Also indicated for a number of other conditions.
INTEGRATED REIKI
An energy healing session paired with any gentle touch modality such as Swedish or Lymphatic Drainage. Perfect for those healing from emotional trauma and stress. Reiki is a powerful technique administered by laying hands over body at energetic channels to promote stress reduction and healing.
